The artisan market will feature approximately 60 local and regional traders and producers who will sell a variety of festive arts and crafts, clothing, homeware, jewellery, as well as food and drink.
Experience the joy of Christmas in the heart of Yorkshire this December. Harrogate town centre will be hosting a new festive market between 2 and 11 December featuring an eclectic mix of local traders and traditional European Christmas stalls.
The Christmas Lights will be shining bright from Thursday, November 17 right through to the New Year. The Christmas Fayre - located on Cambridge Crescent between Friday December 2 and Sunday 11 - will feature 50 Yorkshire and European stalls.
Don't forget you can use the FREE Candy Candy Express road train to get around every day that the Christmas Fayre is on!
The Candy Cane Express – which was a huge hit with adults and children alike – will be running for its duration, and due to its popularity, it’s hoped two road trains will be running each day. Crescent Gardens will be home to a ‘winter wonderland’ featuring ice skating rink, carousel, children’s rides and an ‘après ski’, which will be in place through to early January. The Valley Gardens will also play host to two weekend artisan markets.
Also new for Christmas 2022 is a 32m ‘observation wheel’, which will probably be located near the war memorial.
The Harrogate district is the place to be this Christmas – for a fantastic festive day out, or a seasonal short break away, that the whole family can enjoy.
This year, Destination Christmas is bigger and better – with new features including:
- An outdoor ice skating rink in Harrogate’s Crescent Gardens
- A giant 32m Ferris wheel
Harrogate Christmas Fayre is back, with more than 50 stalls to browse in the town centre for Christmas gifts, decorations and seasonal foodie treats, from 2nd – 11th December.
The Candy Cane Express road train returns and will run for the duration of the market during market opening hours.
Little Bird Made artisan market will be in Harrogate’s Valley Gardens from 3rd – 4th and 10th - 11th December.
Across the whole of the Harrogate district, an amazing array of Christmas activities and experiences are taking place, from Christmas light displays to carol singing to festive family events – making it the perfect place to enjoy an extended stay over the festive season.
