Restrictions have been lifted on 27/01/22 but due to the coronavirus pandemic there is still a genuine level of discomfort around the idea of travelling abroad just yet for many people. We are nearly back to some form of normality when it comes to travel but there are some concerns for some travelling outside the UK and we've noticed a lot of our Spring and Summer bookings coming in have been from UK Guests who have chosen to have a UK holiday this year. Harrogate is a great choice of destination to explore North Yorkshire.
With covid-19 and all the different concerning variants very much at the forefront of people's minds, travelling abroad for a holiday overseas may have been put on hold. Concern over PCR tests, being on a plane with so many people, worrying about not being able to get home if you test positive for covid abroad etc is definitely putting a lot of travellers off booking holidays abroad still. But the desire and need to take some time out and relax on holiday is still something we are all still craving! So of course take caution but book a holiday closer to home.
Forget the flights, just pack your bags, jump in the car or train and enjoy a staycation in the UK.

"Exceptional...
We stayed in apartment 14 for six nights in Jan 2022. It is located on the first floor looking out towards the convention centre. It is light and airy with a large bedroom with en-suite and a spacious open plan living/dinning/kitchen set up.
All extremely comfortable and very well equipped. A nice mix of contemporary design set within an historic building...
The apartment and communal areas are immaculately clean, as were all the plentiful utensils and homeware in the fully equipped kitchen. It was chilly outside (January in Yorkshire) but the apartments are warm and well insulated and draught free.
We have stayed in hotels on previous visits to Harrogate, never again. We look forward to returning to HLA. It gave us the home from home relaxed feeling in a clean, comfortable and stylish apartment.
Our experience with from start to finish was seamless. Good communication and instructions prior to our arrival including advice on parking and nearby facilities. It was good to meet Jessica who is an absolute star who assisted us to view larger 2 bedroom apartments to return with friends for our future bookings.
It is obvious that there is a well drilled team at HLA, the owners, management, housekeepers and maintenance staff all work to provide the best possible experience for their guests. Our tour allowed us to experience several other apartments all continued in the contemporary design and were just as well equipped and spotlessly clean.
The central location is fantastic and provides easily walking access all the amenities within Harrogate.
Covid safe with masks required in communal areas and hand sanitiser provided at the time of our stay.
